歌谣的潜在资源与自然的诗

<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21.75pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">关于从歌谣中汲取经验,现代中国诗人从一开始就表现出广泛而持久的兴趣。“歌谣热”几乎同白话诗一起诞生,并由此贯穿现代新诗的历史。</span><span lang="EN-US">1920</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年</span><span lang="EN-US">12</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月成立的北京大学歌谣研究会是新文化运动中最早成立的群众社团之一,其发起者和参与者如刘半农、沈尹默、钱玄同、周作人等,囊括了众多早期白话诗人;而由其主办的《歌谣周刊》也是现代文学史上出现较早、持续时间最长(</span><span lang="EN-US">1922</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">-</span><span lang="EN-US">1937</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年)的期刊之一。当然,歌谣的重要影响最为鲜明的还在于呈现于不同阶段、众多诗人的作品之中,从早期的刘半农、刘大白到</span><span lang="EN-US">30</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年代“中国诗歌会”的蒲风、任钧,再到抗战时期以解放区为代表的田间、柯仲平、李季、马凡陀等诗人的创作,甚至还包括“新月派”的闻一多、朱湘和现代派的戴望舒等,歌谣作为一种古老的民间艺术形式几乎影响到了所有现代诗人,这一现状无疑表明:歌谣是现代诗歌创作最为重要的资源之一。</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21pt; mso-char-indent-count: 2.0"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">所谓“歌谣的潜在资源与自然的诗”,“以刘半农的诗人心态与路向选择为例”,主要是在纵向言说“歌谣历史”的过程中,选择初期白话诗人刘半农的理论、创作实践为“横向个案”,进而探讨歌谣与新诗之间的对应关系及新诗借鉴歌谣形式创作后的价值得失。作为五四新文化运动和文学革命的闯将、初期白话诗的拓荒者、我国实验语音学的奠基人,“刘半农是现代最早提倡搜集民间歌谣的发起人之一”,不但如此,“在中国现代文学史上,以正确的态度和饱满的热情来对待民间文学,有意识的向人民的口头创作学习和借鉴,并作出一定贡献的人,最早可算是刘半农。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[1]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">可以说,刘半农在收集民间歌谣和具体创作上的“第一人”身份,决定了他的典型性。但值得指出的是,从“歌谣的潜在资源”到刘半农的具体实践,这一“整体”与“个别”的相互介入应当是以某种丰富性和可能性为理论前提的,为此,如何从刘半农的生平经历和路向选择的角度切入“历史”,就成为研讨本课题的逻辑起点。</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">刘半农于</span><span lang="EN-US">1918</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年</span><span lang="EN-US">1</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月最先和沈尹默提出搜集民间歌谣的问题。那天正值大雪初晴,寒风中北河沿闲走的两位北大教授在议论中国诗歌的源头活水时,刘半农忽然说道:“歌谣中也有很好的文章,我们何妨征集一下呢</span><span lang="EN-US">?</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">”尹默说:“你这个意思很好。你去拟个办法,我们请蔡先生用北大的名义征集就是了。”第二天刘半农“将章程拟好,蔡先生看了一看,随即批交文牍处印刷五千份,分寄各省官厅学校。中国征集歌谣的事业,就从此开场了。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[7]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">这一番谈话,现在已经被视为中国现代歌谣和民俗学事业的开场标志,但在当时,却主要是为了解决初期白话诗“尝试”的困境。是年</span><span lang="EN-US">2</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月</span><span lang="EN-US">1</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">日,《北京大学日刊》上登载了由刘半农起草的《北京大学征集全国近世歌谣简章》,《新青年》</span><span lang="EN-US">4</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">卷</span><span lang="EN-US">3</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">号也对此进行转载:“此次征集,由左列五人分任其事;刘复担任来稿之初次审定并编辑‘汇编’”。此后,各地的民歌纷纷寄到北京大学来,刘半农择优选登,从同年</span><span lang="EN-US">5</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月到翌年</span><span lang="EN-US">5</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月,《北京大学日刊》共发表其亲手编订、注释的歌谣</span><span lang="EN-US">148</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">首。</span><span lang="EN-US">1919</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年夏天,刘半农回到故乡江阴,休假时仍时时不忘搜集民歌俗曲。返回北京时,他乘船逆流而上,船夫们嘹亮的划船号子曾使其激动得不能自已,他立刻一首一首地记录下来,这便成了后来被周作人称之为“中国民歌的学术的采集上第一次的成绩”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[8]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">的</span><span lang="EN-US">20</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">首《江阴船歌》。</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21pt; mso-char-indent-count: 2.0"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">按照刘半农的说法,他对待文艺的“见解”和自然界景物的“态度”,是其喜好歌谣的重要原因,而“这样的见解完全是个人的气禀造成的”——“因为我的性情是如此,所以我的爱赏歌谣,就可以说是极自然的趋向了。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[9]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">在刘半农看来,歌谣的第一点“好处,在于能用最自然的言词,最自然的声调,把最自然的情感发抒出来。……好在世间只有文字狱,没有歌谣狱;所以自由的空气,在别种文艺中多少总要受到些裁制的,在歌谣中却永远是纯洁的,永远是受不到别种东西的激扰的……”;而第二点则是“歌谣之构成是信口凑合的,不是精心结构的。唱歌的人,目的既不在于求名,更不在于求利,只是在有意无意之间,将个人的情感自由抒发。而这有意无意之间的情感的抒发,正的的确确是文学上最重要的一个原素。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[10]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">刘半农对待歌谣的态度虽不免过多浸润自身的主观情感,但其激赏歌谣“自然”与“真实”的一面,却颇能代表这一时期新进文人对歌谣寄予厚望的普遍性认识。当时,一位来自意大利的卫太尔男爵(</span><span lang="EN-US">Vitale</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">)在其</span><span lang="EN-US">1896</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年搜集出版的《北京歌谣》(</span><span lang="EN-US">ekinese Rhymes</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">)里的一段话,即“根据在这些歌谣之上,根据在人民的真感情之上,一种新的‘民族的诗’也许能产生出来呢?”曾引起了包括胡适、周作人等在内的新诗实践者的共鸣和赞叹,它曾在多个场合下反复出现,并被直接写入《歌谣》周刊的发刊词</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[11]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">。怀着借鉴与汲取的目的,周作人在</span><st1:chsdate w:st="on" year="1922" M="M"  day="13" islunardate="False" isrocdate="False"><span lang="EN-US">1922</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年</span><span lang="EN-US">4</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">月</span><span lang="EN-US">13</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">日</span></st1:chsdate><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">发表于《晨报副镌》上的《歌谣》一文中就曾强调:“民歌是原始社会的诗,但我们的研究却有两个方面,一是文艺的,一是历史的。从文艺的方面我们可以供诗的变迁的研究,或做新诗创作的参考……民歌与新诗的关系,或者有人怀疑,其实是很自然的,因为民歌的最强烈最有价值的特色是他的真挚和诚信,这是艺术品的共通的精魂,于文艺趣味的养成极是有益的。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[12]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">而作为白话诗的首位尝试者,胡适更是在《北京的平民文学》中提到:“现在白话诗起来了,然而做诗的人似乎还不曾晓得俗歌里有许多可以供我们取法的风格与方法,所以他们宁可学那不容易读又不容易懂的生硬文句,却不屑研究那自然流利的民歌风格。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[13]<o:p></o:p></span></sup></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21.75pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">上述认识生动地表达了歌谣在白话诗诞生阶段如何成为重要创作之源的心态意识,尽管,这一设想在实际操作时远比想像中复杂和困难得多。歌谣作为一种广义上的“民歌”,从历史的角度上讲,确实可以称之为诗的源头并作为一种诗歌。对于中国诗歌的历史来说,传说中的《弹歌》,《诗经》中的“国风”,汉魏时代的乐府,南北朝民歌,唐代新乐府等可以代表一个时代的创作都可以视为歌谣。歌谣体不时从民间登临文学的殿堂并不断被文人改编、加工,曾给中国古典诗歌的发展以重要的调节作用。从这个意义上说,现代诗歌在其诞生阶段从歌谣中借鉴路径、激生新变无疑是有章可循的。“我们若是将《诗经》旧说订正,把《国风》当作一部古代民谣去读,于现在的歌谣研究或新诗创作上一定很有效用,这是可以断言的。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[14]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">周作人在《古文学》一文中的说法,证明了诗学意义上的“传统”与“现代”一直存有无法割裂的渊源关系。而事实上,刘半农直接从家乡采集而来的民歌中汲取创作的养分以及三四十年代解放区自发的搜集、整理群众歌谣,其行为本身都可谓深得古代“采风”之神髓。只不过,在不同程度和不同目的的情感交织中,取自于内心的自然和本真才最切近艺术的本身。</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21pt; mso-char-indent-count: 2.0"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">在白话诗诞生初期,刘半农的“写真说”虽然指向了传统诗歌中虚伪的一面,但具体到写作之上,却涉及到如何客观、真实的表现社会生活现实,从而在继承《国风》、《乐府》“怨”、“刺”传统的过程中展现写实的风格。</span><span lang="EN-US">1917</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年初进北京,到北大当预科教授的刘半农在闲暇之时,曾游历香山。香山的美景曾一度让刘半农迷醉,但当斜日西坠,悻悻归往时,刘半农却看见一伙如狼似虎的公差,正鞭打一个欠租负病的老农,上前喝令公差住手询问老农时,才知只为欠租五斗,这使刘半农一天游览的兴致顿时烟消云散。为此,刘半农后来特作《游香山纪事诗》多首并将其作为《扬鞭集》的开篇之作,其中“第十首”便是对这一人间不平场景的记录</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[22]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">。《游香山纪事诗》的出现,使刘半农的诗作“从其开始就表现了同情下层人民的进步性”。</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[23]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">与上述作品相一致的,是刘半农在《相隔一层纸》等作品中常常以对比、感怀的方式表达怨愤、反抗和同情下层人民的思想感情。按照刘半农《瓦釜集》“代自叙”的说法,所谓进行歌谣化诗歌创作的意图就在于“要试验一下,能不能尽我的力,把数千年来受尽侮辱与蔑视,打在地狱底里而没有呻吟的机会的瓦釜的声音,表现出来一部分”。</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[24]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">翻阅《扬鞭集》、《瓦釜集》,刘半农的上述创作意图几乎贯穿其全部诗作。这种向来以暴露性、批判性著称的歌谣化诗歌,与同一时期其他白话诗人一起形成了初期白话诗的现实主义风格,并对后来的诗歌特别是歌谣体创作产生了不容忽视的影响。</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21.75pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">当然,采用写实的风格之后,还造就了刘半农诗歌对具体行为、事件叙述和白描的特色。鉴于《国风》、《乐府》许多作品都侧重具体事物、情节和场景叙述的影响,刘半农许多作品,如《相隔一层纸》、《铁匠》、《卖菜》、《牧羊儿的悲哀》等,均以白描的手法为主,具体勾勒出下层人民的形象及其生活实景。这一现象确然在很大程度上印证了周作人为《扬鞭集》作序时所言的“中国的文学革命是古典主义(不是拟古主义)的影响,一切作品都像是一个玻璃球,晶莹透澈得太厉害了,没有一点儿朦胧,因此也似乎缺少了一种馀香与回味”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[25]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">,并极易被人指责为“浅与露”,但事实上,这一点正是歌谣体诗歌的艺术本质所在。歌谣体诗歌叙事性的加强,基本继承了古代民歌“感于哀乐,缘事而发”的传统。作为一种后果,在</span><span lang="EN-US">30</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">、</span><span lang="EN-US">40</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">年代,歌谣体的叙事传统除了继续影响中国诗歌会、抗战诗歌的艺术表现手段,还造成了新诗史上叙事诗以及长篇叙事诗的蓬勃发展。而以李季《王贵与李香香》等为代表的叙事诗创作,不但体现了故事的完整性和人物的鲜明个性,还在发掘、借鉴民间歌谣体式的过程中丰富了现代诗歌的创作形式。</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21.75pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">白话诗的诞生是以解构古典诗歌语言和形式为标志的。对于拓荒期的现代诗歌来说,如何建构起一种新的诗歌言说方式,进而以自由、灵活、多变的形式为读者所肯定,无疑是一件耽误之急的事情。然而,新诗毕竟也是在“诗”的范畴内实现自身的价值形态的,因此,无论从读者的接受心理,还是从诗歌本身应有的物质化和形态化角度,新诗终究要回到语言和形式的问题上来。虽然,自由体在告别古典严谨的形式在当时已成必然,其中还交织着白话使用所产生的潜在影响,但是,如何在“自由”之余,实现现代诗歌自身的多样化实践并逐步上升为某种标准,既是新诗优越于古典的“必然逻辑”,同时,也是新诗本身获取长足发展的物质基础。是以,对于以胡适、刘半农、康白情等为代表的初期白话诗人而言,形式的“破坏”与“重建”几乎是同时出现的。作为被周作人认为是当时“只有两个人具有诗人的天分”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[26]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">之一的刘半农,最早涉足“无韵诗”的理论实践,他从音韵、诗体形式等方面入手,其“新诗形式运动的观念”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[27]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">,无论对于当时的白话诗实践,还是后来种种关于体式的实践,都具有重要的开启意义。</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 21.75pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">在写于文学革命初期的《我之文学改良观》中,刘半农在谈及“韵文改良”时曾重点强调“破坏旧韵,重造新韵”和“增多诗体”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[28]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">两方面内容。针对“梁代沈约所造四声谱,即今日吾辈通用之诗韵”存在的种种限制,刘半农以颇具进化论的主张指出:“吾辈意想中之新文学,既标明其宗旨曰,‘作自己的诗文,不作古人的诗文’,则古人所认为叶音之韵,尚未必可用,何况此古人所不认,按诸今音又不能相合之四声谱,乃可视为文学中一种规律,举无数文人之心思脑血,而受制于沈约一人之武断耶”;“虽造谱之时,读音决不与今音相同。造谱者亦决无能力预为吾辈二十世纪读音设想。吾辈苟无崇拜古人之迷信,即就其未为吾辈设想而破坏之,当亦为事理之所必然”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[29]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">。因而,他进一步提出“重造新韵”的三种办法:“(一)作者各就土音押韵”;“(二)以北京语音为标准,由长于北京语音者编造一本新的韵书”;“(三)希望于‘国语研究会’<st1ersonName w:st="on" productid="诸">诸</st1ersonName>君由调查所得,撰一定谱,行之于世,则尽善尽美矣。”</span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><sup><span lang="EN-US">[30]</span></sup></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New="New"  Roman'">在今天看来,这三种办法虽未完全符合新诗发展的事实,但在几十年新诗创作的实践中,也基本获得了实现,这足以证明刘半农在新诗用韵问题上的开创之功。</span></p>
