<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">       </FONT>我与诗人周瑟瑟相识是在十多年之前，得知他把十七年来的诗作编辑成集出版，真的为他高兴。诗集中的作品大多写在九十年代以前，而编选出版时，作者已是中关村<FONT face="Times New Roman">IT</FONT>业的“师爷”。一部诗集从写作到出版，竟跨越了浪漫主义和市场经济两个不同的时代，这种“出版现象”真可谓是一个“奇迹”。在我看来，正是这一时空的交叉和杂陈交错，大大增加了诗集的可读性，和它所构成的历史的复杂性和错层感。</P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">       </FONT>由此想来，瑟瑟在一个急功近利的时代出版他的浪漫主义之作，绝不是一般的心血来潮，或是他说的“怀旧”，而是真切地披露了其内心。因此，你阅读他的作品，就不能撇开今天文化语境的参照，单纯地使用浪漫主义时代的审美标准。例如，今天再读《穷人的女儿》、《老人》、《冬天不恋爱》这些早期诗作，它们其中包含的，已不是单纯的诉说和对幻想的迷恋；通过这些作品，我们发现的却是“单纯”在今天的无可挽回的缺失。所以我想，这部诗集应该送给那些整日奔波在中关村大小街巷的“业内精英”，让他们在激烈竞争的间隙里，重温一下那遥远的“旧梦”。但是我想，整理这些“旧作”，大概也是作者本人在红尘滚滚的世界借以疗治自己精神上的创伤，安顿一下自己疲惫不堪的心灵的一种不自觉的举动罢。</P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">       </FONT>其实，即使按照今天诗歌创作的要求，瑟瑟的诗仍保持在很高的水准上。他的诗敏感，语言有突破力。他的艺术视域开阔，能迅速地进入主题，开掘同一题材中被忽视、冷落的部分，而且使之有神奇的艺术表现。他的诗句中，有一种无法回避的生涩感，有一种只有经过磨擦才能进入其中的关键性的环节，而这一环节，正是一个受过严格专业技巧训练的人必备的素质。在《路过马家庄》、《江湖》、《疾病》、《怒江》和《杂种》这些出色的诗作中，我们可以随时发现上述因素的存在，看到它们是怎样支撑起一首诗的基本框架，并把它最后制作成一件艺术品的。但同时，作者所涉猎的题材，也暗示了他对世界的基本看法，以及他通过诗怎样与人们做精神交流的独特方式。这些题材中，山野、乡村、江湖、独处、都市多余人等等被极大地凸现出来，一方面再现了作者本人的人生轨迹，另一方面则揭示、反照出他当下的真实心境。正是这一艺术与现实、单纯与复杂、乡村与都市、群体与个人的冲突矛盾，赋予了瑟瑟的创作一种非同寻常的活力，他身居中关村大街核心的精神困境和多余人的文化身份，也被尖锐地展露在读者的面前。</P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">       </FONT>九十年代以来，多少身陷“商海”的文人都已打马绝尘，远离文坛。周瑟瑟却初衷不改，依然痴迷于文学创作，实是新世纪文学中的奇迹之一。所以，任何评说已属多余，读者且张开眼睛阅读作品罢。</P>
