刘蓉莺 Liu, Jung-Ying
刘蓉莺钻研于水墨花鸟绘画创作，主张东方艺术的思维，永远是拥怀生命的宇宙观。致力于中华艺术的研究，主张天地一贯的中庸信念，以发表的“混沌与纯净”系列的研究为例即是；在混沌中理出纯净的恬静灵界，个中蕴含着无穷浩大的生命动能，那是一种蝴蝶效应能量，处于似静似动的太极之境。在观赏其画作时，常让人落于静默的禅思，顺势作了一场心灵环保，激发出体内正向原力活化的契机，洗涤凡尘喧嚣的负担之余，也随之感受到如沐春风的喜悦感。
“混沌”代表现实生活与人世纷扰的面向，“纯净”象征人性渴求宁静、祥和的情境。她利用水与墨的融合与冲击，营造出混沌的面貌；又在其间参悟到“不动”与“无常”的真理。体察、顿悟之后，找到了“拨云见日” 、“明心见性”的“道”与“法”。
从传统而具象的精致描绘找到了“真与善”，也满足了“怀古”的民族性；从简约的用色与造形表现感受到“极简”、“恒常”美感的传递与情绪获得舒解放松；从水墨韵染的墨韵生动变化与纵横轴线空间感的自由方向扩散性，营造成充满生命力与可无限延伸的空间感，造成一种“美丽憧憬的理想美”，三者共构缔造出传统花鸟画的现代新境。
刘蓉莺出生于台湾台南市，国立台湾师范大学美术系暨设计研究所毕业。现任教国立台南大学及长荣大学美术系、南华大学视觉艺术系。曾举行个展及艺术家海内外联展多次，近年受邀马来西亚、韩国、中国厦门、东莞、郑州、福州、上海等地展出。曾任台南市师大美术学会理事长，现为台南市新象画会会长。

Liu, Jung-Ying
Liu, Jung-Ying devotes herself fully to Chinese painting and specializes at bird-flowers theme. Reflecting the thoughts of oriental arts, she always believes in embracing the views of universe, which centers at caring living being. Throughout her professional career, she devotes greatly to the studies of Chinese arts. Her work is based on the belief in the philosophy of golden mean. A series of her recent research focusing on “chaos and purification” is a true example of such recognition.
Jung-Ying was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1955. She graduated from the Department of Fine Art, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) at Taipei. She later studied fine art at the Graduate Institute of Fine Art, NTNU and received Master Degree from the Graduate Institute of Design, NTNU. She is teaching at National Tainan University, the Department of Fine Arts at the Chang Jung Christian University, and the Department of Aesthetic and Visual Arts at the Nanhua University.
She has so far held several personal art exhibitions. She was also invited to participate in a number of important art exhibitions at home and abroad including Tainan Fu-Chen Artist Joint Exhibition, Faculty Members Joint Art Exhibition, etc. In the past few years, she was invited to participate in art exhibitions in Malaysia, Korea, and several cities in China: Xiamen, Dongguan, Zhengzhou, Fuzhou, and lately in Shanghai.
She was the Chairperson, Art Association of Tainan NTNU Alumni from 2005-2007, and currently serves as the Chairperson for Tainan New Aspect Art Association. She continues to be one of active members of Tainan Association of Chinese painting, Kaohsiung Art Alliance, Tainan County Fine Art Association.
