　　若瑟·狄莫作品展

　　Fairy Tales - works by José Drummond

　　由全艺社主办“童话－若瑟·狄莫作品展”将于七月十六日(星期五)下午六时三十分于全艺社开幕。是次展览由朱焯信策划，展出本地艺术家若瑟·狄莫的最新作品，包括一套录像及近百幅小型画作。

　　若瑟·狄莫一九六五年葡萄牙里斯本出生，于里斯本接受正规的造型、素描和绘画艺术教育，获得澳门欧洲研究学院颁发的艺术管理专业文凭；曾获澳门东方基金会和葡萄牙国家文化中心奖学金；狄莫八七年起曾先后在葡萄牙、西班牙、澳门及中国等地举办二十次个人展览，是次展览亦为其于本澳举行的第七次个人作品展。若瑟·狄莫的作品亦曾在本澳、葡萄牙、台湾、泰国和中国各地参与过数十个不同的联展。

　　这次展览是全艺社继零九年初《THE IDIOT》后再度举办若瑟·狄莫的个人作品展；人生一直面对着不同的生活追求，充斥社会上的大量信息直观改写我们对未来的追求和改变的渴望，来澳定居超过十六年的葡籍艺术家若瑟·狄莫今以“童话”为名，举办其最近的个人作品展，究竟“童话”在艺术家笔下会如何表现独有色彩？观众可尝试从他的作品中寻求答案。

　　Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond

　　Organised by the Art for All Society (AFA), Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond will open at AFA Macau at 6:30pm on Friday 16th July. The exhibition, curated by James Chu, will showcase the most recent works of local artist, José Drummond, including a video work and nearly a hundred small paintings.

　　Born in Lisbon in Portugal in 1965, José Drummond received his formal education in the art of modelling, sketching and drawing in Lisbon, obtaining a professional diploma in arts management from the Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM). He won scholarships from the Oriental Foundation (Fundação Oriente) in Macao and the Centro Nacional de Cultura in Portugal. Since 1987, he has held 20 solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, Macao and the Chinese mainland. The forthcoming exhibition is his seventh solo exhibition organised in Macao. His works have been showcased in dozens of joint exhibitions held in Macao, Portugal, Taiwan, Thailand and the Chinese mainland.

　　Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond is a solo exhibition that follows his exhibition The Idiot organised by AFA in early 2009. People have different life pursuits at different stages; however, a glut of information in society intuitively changes our future pursuits and desire for change. José Drummond, the Portuguese artist who has settled in Macao for more than 16 years, decided to use ‘Fairy Tales’ as the theme of this solo exhibition. How will ‘Fairy Tales’ be portrayed by José Drummond Exhibition-goers will find the answer in his works.

　　Organised by the AFA and sponsored by the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the MSAR, Fairy Tales - Works by José Drummond is scheduled to open at 6:30pm on Friday 16th July at Rua Francisco Xavier Pereira No. 45-49, FL/3, Edf. Ind. Luen Hing, Macau, and closes on 15th August.
