在中国当代艺术的绘画评论中，关于作品画面中的线条、笔触、色彩、明暗等探究绘画语言的文字已不多见。批评家更多的关心的是作品中的主体叙事部分，即作品的“观念”。而绘画作品中的笔触通常被认为是构成作品的基础技法元素而已，我们很少像研究传统绘画那样去发掘作品中笔触的变化及形成某种笔触背后的深层原因。
与工整无痕的平涂处理方法不同，近年来在某些青年艺术家的创作中出现了一种倾向。这种倾向即在创作中进行放纵恣意的涂抹，用笔奔放疾速；刻意让画面中的笔触没有融合或渐变的效果，在画面中突出绘画的手工痕迹。
“恣意的笔触——绘画语言探究系列展”将于2010年10月31日在酒厂国际艺术区前后空间开幕。本次展览由知名策展人夏彦国和王麟共同策划，邀请的9位艺术家是：陈正乾、冯瀚平、蒋建军、刘芯涛、毛艳阳、舒昊、肖喆洛、张婕、曾妮。本次展览试图把艺术家处理作品主题时所产生的特殊处理方法抽离出来进行研究，呈现出绘画语言中最细微的点，分析它有怎样的演变和推进，最终再让其回归到现场、历史、社会中，体现它的价值，进而引起有益的讨论。
从此次参展作品的恣意的笔触中，我们也可以他们的活力和热情，他们将更多的偶然性带进了画面中，而这种偶然性和表现性笔触正是这些青年艺术家对生活和生命的个人体验。
这次展览仅是对国内青年艺术家创作的一个现象呈现和“个案”研究，期望更多人去关注和讨论。
本次展览的主办方“前后空间”一直以来以独特开放的方式与活跃在中国本土的青年艺术家合作，为青年艺术家提供了很好的展示平台。“前后空间”尤其注重青年艺术家的实验性和创新意识，通过对当下的艺术创作现状进行梳理和研究，旨在鼓励青年艺术创作的更多可能性。

In Chinese contemporary art paintings comments review, the picture about the line, brushwork, colour, light and shade and so on, those painting language writing has not seen. What Critics more concern is the main part of the works'narrative, namely the works' "concepts". And the brushwork usually considered as the basic techniques, we rarely study the contemporary art such as the study of traditional paintings to find work in the brush changing and the deep reasons behind.
It is different with the neatly the radiant coating method, in recent years , some young artists have a tendency in the creation. This tendency is the willful indulgence swiftness, untrammelled and swiftness with pen in the creation, deliberately let image fusion or gradient in the picture, the outstanding painting hand imprint.
"The Willful Brushwork----A Series Of Exploreing Painting Language" will open on October 31st in Everyspace gallery Jiuchang ART Complex Beihuqu . This exhibition is planning by renowned curator Xia Yanguo and Wanglin, invited nine artists is Chen Zhengqian, Feng Hanping, Jiang Jianjun, liu Xintao, MaoYanyang, Shuhao, Xiao Zheluo, Zhangjie, Cengni. The exhibition try to study the special treatment method in handling the works' theme,shows the subtle in the painting language, analysis how evolute and promote , finally let it return to the scene, the historical, social, embody its value, and cause the beneficial discussion.
From this exhibition of works arbitrary brushworks, we can also feel their vitality and enthusiasm, they will bring more chance into the picture, but this kind of chance and performance brush just is these young artist personal experienceto live and the life .
This exhibition is only presenting a domestic for young artists creation and studying "case" phenomenon, we expect more people to pay attention to it and discussed.
The exhibition organizers Everywhere gallery has been cooperateing local Chinese young artists with unique open way and active attitude, provides a good display platform. Everywhere gallery notice especially the experimental of young artists and innovation consciousness, based on artistic creation current situation analysis and study, aims to encourage more young art creation.
