Sonnet 130
My mistress，eyes are nothing like the sun，
Coral is far more red，than her lips red，
If snow be white，why then her breasts are dun，
If hairs be wires，black wires grow on her head．
I have seen roses damasked，red and white，
But no such roses see I in her cheeks；
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that kom my mistress reeks．
I love to hear her speak，yet well l know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound：
I grant I never saw a goddess go，
My mistress，when she walks，treads on the ground：
And yet by heaven，I think my love as rare，
As any she belied with false compare．

我情妇的眼睛根本不像太阳，
珊瑚也比她的双唇红艳得多，
她的胸脯却暗褐无光，
她满头的乱发硬如铁丝。
我见过红的白的玫瑰，锦缎一般，
但在她的脸上，却看不到玫瑰的娇艳；
有许多芳香都比我的情妇
身上的气息更令人愉悦。
我喜欢听她讲话，然而我知道
乐音比她的嗓音悦耳得多；
我承认从未见过女神行走，
我的情妇行走时，完全脚踏实地：
然而，我对天发誓，我的爱人
胜似任何被错捧为天仙的美女。
